In my time serving Tennessee Baptists, I have received more questions about worship copyright than any other topic. What license(s) do I need? What’s my risk if I don’t have the right license(s)? Can we use YouTube videos in our services? The questions go on and on. In this session, I’ll give a basic overview of worship copyright licenses, providing specific details about what each does—and does not—cover. I’ll share some true stories about legal issues in churches related to worship copyright. I’ll also answer frequently asked questions and take additional inquiries from attendees.
